15/10/2025 – a very special day to remember
Not only did we reopen The Quirky Corner after its beautiful refresh, but it also marked Tony’s anniversary, a day that means so much to all of us at HURT
The amount of work, love, and care that’s gone into the shop over the last few days has been unbelievable. From fresh paint to new displays, every detail has been done to perfection.
A massive well done to Vivienne and Jane from @beautifyinginteriors who worked super hard and helped see through the vision , and the dedicated volunteers and staff who gave up their time to help, your enthusiasm, energy, and kindness made this all happen in such a short space of time.
A huge thank-you to Derry City & Strabane District Council for making this possible through the Go Succeed Fund. Thanks to this support, Vivienne has truly been able to make her dreams for the shop come to life.
We’d also like to thank Elaine Maxwell for kindly cutting the ribbon at our reopening, your support means the world to us!
And a special mention to Eimhear, one of our amazing volunteers, who not only gives up her time but also donates and helps spread the word about our charity shop and upcoming events, we appreciate it so much!
The Quirky Corner isn’t just a shop, it’s a space filled with hope, memories, and community spirit
Pop in, say hello, and see the transformation for yourself, we can’t wait to welcome you!
Now onto the Quirky Corner Fashion Show…
Love,
Vivienne, Leanne & Rebecca
