After the tragic loss of her son Tony to his heroin addiction, Sadie O’Reilly founded HURT in 2001.
This year will be our 20th year of offering support services here in Derry City and surrounding areas.
Our services include Auricular Acupuncture, Complementary Therapies and Counselling.
We also offer addiction prevention programs, youth personal development courses and workshops, and a harm reduction program which helps opiate users to rebuild their lives and develop new skills.
We deliver preventative educational programmes within local schools, youth clubs and community-based initiatives.
We are also an accredited education training centre.
